State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $100 in an election cycle. Corporations making campaign contributions totaling more than $1,000 aggregate are required by the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance to register as a PAC and submit all required campaign finance disclosures. Maximum PAC and corporate entities registered as a PAC for House candidates: $14,400 per cycle. Individual campaign contribution limit: $1,800 (Couple: $3,600) per cycle. Campaign contributions are not deductible on Federal tax returns regardless of entity type. Foreign nationals may not make campaign contributions. Campaign finance law prohibits cash contributions exceeding $50.
